You’re Not Broken. You’re Becoming.
For years, I believed I was broken.
Not good enough. Not strong enough. Not spiritual enough.
I internalized the shame, the guilt, the gaslighting. I thought something was wrong with me because I couldn’t just “pray it away” or “fake it better.”
But here’s the truth I’ve come to know in my bones:
You are not broken. You are becoming.
Becoming the woman who trusts her own voice.
Becoming the soul who finally sees herself clearly.
Becoming the person who no longer settles for crumbs—whether in love, community, or faith.
When a caterpillar dissolves into a pile of goo inside the cocoon, it doesn’t mean it’s broken. It means it's transforming.
We don’t talk enough about the messy middle.
The parts of healing that feel like hell.
The days when growth feels more like grief.
The nights when you question everything—including yourself.
But the cocoon is sacred.
And so is your becoming.
Unshackled Living isn’t about pretending you’ve got it all figured out.
It’s about honoring the process, holding space for your truth, and allowing the pieces to realign in a way that finally feels like you.
If you’re in the thick of it—doubting, unraveling, exhausted from carrying the weight of old beliefs—you’re not failing.
You’re unfolding.
And the you that’s emerging?
She’s powerful. She’s wise. She’s free.
Give yourself grace.
Give yourself time.
And remember—becoming isn’t beautiful at first.
But it’s real. It’s raw. And it’s yours. It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
